A match(a) made in heaven

Enjoy matcha the way that’s perfect for you

Matcha is so much more than just a trend – in fact, it’s the exact opposite. This frothy green tea, celebrated for its vibrant colour and distinctive taste, has been enjoyed for centuries and holds a treasured place in Japanese tea culture.

With SONNENTOR, you can discover the green delight that helps you glide through slumps and afternoon lows in the way that feels just right for you.

Here are two delicious versions to enjoy matcha:”

Quick & easy bliss

For those who love simple indulgence, our Matcha Syrup is heaven-sent.

Your cup of green delight is just moments away: simply mix the syrup with a blend of water and milk (or your favourite plant-based drink) – half and half works beautifully. Stir well and enjoy!

For a refreshing twist, try it as an Iced Matcha Latte by using cold water or milk, and add ice cubes for the perfect cool-down.

Your perfect matcha moment

For a truly traditional experience, the finely ground green tea powder is mixed with water at 80°C. To achieve that signature foamy crown, you’ll need a special matcha whisk, known as a chasen. Whisk briskly in a zigzag motion for 15–30 seconds to create a delicate, velvety foam.

The reward? A bold, vibrant green drink that makes mornings flow smoothly and transforms every lunch break into a moment of pure pleasure.

How is matcha made?

Matcha powder comes from the tea plant Camellia sinensis. Before harvest, the plants are shaded, which boosts chlorophyll and amino acids in the leaves. This gives matcha its intense green colour and unmistakably fresh, grassy flavour. After harvest, the leaves are steamed, dried, and carefully stone-ground into the fine powder we know as matcha.
